Dr. Rakesh Lakhani was born in London, England, and grew up in Austin, TX. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
He then graduated as class valedictorian from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2014. He was the recipient of clinical awards for contact lens excellence, patient clinical care, and the highest ABS board scores within his class. Soon after, he completed his ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Dr. Lakhani has served as the treasurer/secretary, vice president, and president of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. He most recently was awarded Georgia's Young Optometrist of the Year award at the GOA Fall Conference in October 2021.
He has vast experience in different settings ranging from surgery centers to private practice. Given his passion for charitable care, he participated in the OneSight program by volunteering his optometric services with the Mexico team in May 2019. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new cuisines with his wife. Dr. Lakhani looks forward to serving the East Cobb area and strives to deliver quality eye care for his patients.
Dr. Aaron Rahn is a fun and charismatic individual with a compassionate heart towards others. During his time at Kennesaw State University, Aaron served as one of the members of the East Cobb Lions Club and worked as a published research assistant.
He then attended the Inter-American School of Optometry in 2010, where he served as president of the orientation committee and worked as a student tutor. Dr. Rahn would spend much of his time alongside clinicians in the pediatrics and vision therapy department.
His time there sparked an interest in helping those suffering from common binocular disorders; ultimately leading to Dr. Rahn to be awarded top of his class in vision therapy. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Rahn devoted his time to traveling, composing, and videography. When he is not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with family, working out, and trading cryptocurrency.
Dr. James Pack served the Marietta community next to LensCrafters for over 30 years providing quality eye care. Dr. Pack received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Birmingham Southern College, and was awarded his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama – Birmingham School of Optometry in 1989. He specialized in fitting multifocal and specialty gas permeable keratoconic contact lenses. He retired from optometric practice in December 2020 and gave his full support to the Lakhani Vision Care team. Dr. Pack passed peacefully at home in April 2021.
Dr. Pack was a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the Sons of the American Revolution. Dr. Pack was a passionate supporter of the OneSight program, providing eye care for patients on missions locally and internationally. He had many hobbies including cooking, hiking, and gardening.
